Delta Municipal Supply proudly
celebrated its 35th Anniversary in 2008. Our roots date
back to the early 1960s when our founder, Mr. R.W. Slocum,
began a career in the water works industry. He became
a very successful salesman and decided to strike out on
his own. By 1973, he had incorporated his company as Delta
Meter & Supply Co. During the first few years the
company's focus was on meter parts and repair work on
water meters. This gave the company experience with many
different brands of water meters manufactured both here
in the USA and abroad.
In 1978, Delta became a stocking distributor for Neptune
Water Meter Company. We are now in our 30th year with
Neptune. This makes us one of their oldest distributors.
We have witnessed the evolution of meter technology and
are proud to sell and represent the Neptune product line.
They are a leader in this industry and manufacture what
we believe is the most reliable and best performing meter
on the market today.
During the year of 1980, Mr. Slocum renamed the company
to Delta Municipal Supply Company, Inc. This name change
more accurately described our company as we grew and started
taking on more product lines to sell to our customers.
The Delta team, now led by Mr. Slocum's son Steve,
has over 100 years of combined experience in the municipal market.
We are dedicated to continuing our tradition of offering
the best products and service possible to our valued customers.
